SLO's and WebTools

Through out my county and state, teachers are being asked to create Student Learning Obejctives (SLO) which are used to not only improve student acheivement but to also evaluate teachers.  In addition, each SLO needs to be aligned with at least one common core standard from math or reading and standards from the teachers content area.  While constructing my SLO, I have been working out ways to incorporate technology besides using word processing (they will writing a persuasive letter).  I have been thinking about using a webtools as a way to prepare my students for the upcoming assessment.

What webtools have you used in your classes that prepare students for your assessments?  Do you feel they are effective?

  1. Hi Michele,
Seems like you have your hands full with this one. I have only used technology for word processing and ESL learning so I don't have too many resources. I have heard about a few talked about on teachers forums.
For math maybe you could try:

There are also some for reading:

    Good luck with your preparation!
    Have a great weekend,
